Having come out of her coma, Allison struggles to regain full use of her body. Without Joe's knowledge, she visits Devalos' office, where she is signed back on as a paralegal. She then begins to find that though she hasn't had a psychic dream for months, her skills as a medium are slowly returning and may be of aid in a case currently being investigated. Meanwhile, Joe has quit his previous job, but receives an intriguing offer to pursue work as a "green" engineer.[/center]

After the biggest season finale to date (arguably beating Season 3's game changer) I was worried about how they would approach this episode, and to an extent this season.
Aside from moving networks, Medium also had to re-establish itself in some ways because here we were watching a show about a psychic who helps the police, but our psychic had just had major brain surgery and her abilities weren't working as they should. But I thought the way they did it was spot on. They didn't linger for episodes with Allison unable to help the police, and what I liked was that they focused more on Allison's recovery from her stroke rather than her power's recovery and I think if it were any other show that would maybe have been the other way around.
