Buffy is dealing with the consequences of her actions of her fight months before when Faith, a new Slayer, comes to town and shows little concern for her own consequences. Buffy meets a challenge like never before when a powerful enemy is banished from her home dimension, unable to return back without the Key. Monks bestow the Key's protection to the Slayer, hoping she'll defend it with her life against Glory - and learns that evil has many faces beyond that of vampires and demons.

October 2, 2001 – May 21, 2002

The gang suffer from the greatest sacrifice they've ever known - Buffy's life in exchange for the safety of the world. Willow, Xander and others seek out a mystical resurrection, leading into a season of Buffy finding herself after death, Xander learning more about what his heart wants and Willow finding seduction in her power.

September 24, 2002 – May 20, 2003

Before the bang, before the word, there was a force that existed for power - the First Evil and it's surfacing to destroy the Slayer legacy by killing off Potentials and their Watchers, working it's way up to Buffy. Can the Slayer train these Potentials into the army she needs to battle off the First and the Hellmouth's army?
