True Blood, 4.07 - Cold Grey Light of Dawn

Bill passes an order that is generally disliked. Eric eagerly accepts his amnesia. Luna finds out something interesting about Sam. Holly and Andy hook up. Lafayette becomes more aware of his own existence, sensations, thoughts and surroundings. Jessica's not so sure her current relationship has much future. Alcide and Debbie make the decision to join a new werewolf community.

Oh yes...the sun! The sun indeed. An incredible episode as said in the shoutbox for a number of reasons.

Anyways, Sookie and Eric, aka Sex Bites, porn scene number 3. Still loving their relationship and they're pretty awesome together. The scene with the sun...I'll get to that later.

Hoyt and Jason were all right in this one. Still having a feeling they're going to drag this triangle out for a long ass while. It's okay, I'm just not the biggest fan of it. Though I'm still kinda wishing that Jason actually did turn into a werepanther. Whatever, I'm off it.

Can I just say how awesome Luna is?! The scene where she literally tells Sam to fuck off over the phone was seriously a favorite for me. And the scene where they actually figure out the little fucker Tommy was really Sam was a good one as well.

Tommy...go the fuck away. Just away from Sam.

Jesus and Lafayette...actually pretty boring in this one, Iono. Maybe because I zoned in and out every now and then during the episode, but I wasn't really feeling it with them in this one.

As well as Debbie and Alcide. Alcide just needs to at least confess her attraction for Sookie. We all see it! At least I do. Waiting for Debbie v. Sookie, vol. 2

Andy and Holly were a plus, not the biggest plus, but a plus, indeed. I'm still thinking of the Comic Con preview where Andy was in that dark room just staring out into something. If anything, Holly would be the perfect cure of Andy's addiction.

Tara and Marnie Antonia. Oh, this is one relationship I personally can't to see develop. Tara just lost her girl, which gave me a sad face. But if Tara had to break up all ties with Sookie and Naomi, I'm glad to see her on the other side as opposed to just playing a helpless victim. Loved the scene where they first meet and Antonia shows Tara her rape. Phenomenal.

Finally! The SUN!!

Jessica and Bill. The best setting for this episode. Jason's revelation of what was going on at Sookie's and hm running towards Jessica's house?! Oy. Bill was awesome as well; the whole "As your maker, I command you" line, and for even that to not work goes to show how powerful the spell was. And Jessica at the door?! Beautiful shot. Beautiful effects. Beautiful Deborah. Couldn't really ask for more. One of my favorite scenes, effect and shooting wise.

Pam. Felt so bad for her when she was this close to Tara and she was caught at Merlotte's. And the whole chainmail barrier was very badass of her, considering her...skin condition. And Ginger literally holding down the casket was funny as hell.

Eric's reaction just really got to me, I don't know why. Maybe it was Sookie's reason for holding him down with the silver. But it got to me nontheless.

And just for the lolz, Maxine's neighbor was hysterical. And her whole, "I knew it" reaction was hella funny.

The scene that caused it all, the incredible spell that the circle did. Beautifully done, really. I might watch the episode again, just because.

So yes! A damn good episode, indeed. Even psyched for the episode coming up! Thoughts?

I'd much prefer to see Sam die. He's just a little annoying now; I suppose when he kills Tommy and becomes a skinwalker he'll be a bit more interesting... Or at least, that's what I think will happen.

LMFAO at the Sun scene with Maxine. 'I knew it'

I actually think Tara and Marnie will be interesting together. Tara is another person I think should die, even though the whole trainwreck-Tara is being handled really well by the writers. But come on, she even wants to die. Just don't kill off Pam, writers!
