I know, I know, I'm late. whatever.
A hell of a step up from last week's episode.
First and foremost, the episode started with Eric and Sookie about to get in it, and it ended with Eric and Sookie ACTUALLY getting into it. I think it's safe to say they're together. We'll just see how long it lasts.
A big round of applause for Bill in this episode. Though choosing Sookie's happiness over the safety of the vampire community doesn't seem king-like at all, it was a great gesture of letting go on his part. But the scene with Sookie and Bill was great. I loved his line about him not giving a damn who's in between her legs. I just hope he, you know, actually stays pretty badass. I know I was all "he needs to suffer" and stuff, but I'm sorta liking King Bill now.
Tara and Naomi, right? Yeah, they're somewhat boring. I mean I'm glad they're together, I really am. But they just seemed quiet in this episode, or maybe it's just me. But it really picked up at the end of the episode with Pam, who I just can't stop feeling bad for. Anyways, I have a real bad feeling about Naomi. I don't think she's gonna make it.
Sam/Tommy. FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! Tommy really is just one of those rare characters for me. You know, he's that character who you just want to hug and say "It's gonna be all right" one minute, and the next minute you want to fucking beat him with a newspaper. Because he does dumb shit like leave Maxine all by her lonesome, and who sleeps with girls as your brother and then kick em out. Notice how I didn't say fire Sookie. Because he didn't do anything wrong there. At least I don't think so. Yes, he's not Sam and he has no place to fire people. But had I been Sam, I would have fired her a WHILE ago. She just comes and goes as she pleases. "Go try that shit at Appleby's" < A quote from the review of the episode on tv.com. ;D
More Nan, please. Thank you. And Donde esta Hoyt? Not that I care, just curious.
Holly and Andy. Hell yes, please. Would love to see him get some lovin. Loved their little scene together. "Thank Goddess". He really needs her. But one thing, I'm SO confused on: Holly's house was burned in the fire as well? How did it even start over there? Unless I'm mistaken, Holly lives ACROSS the street from them, yes? Or no?
Speaking of fire, I was expecting to see Kobe and Lisa killed or something. But enough about them. Is it possible for a baby to be one of my favorite characters? Yes? Okay then. Because he says nothing, NOTHING, and he's just so badass. To me, at least. But I'm more interested in the girl/spirit he saw.
Jason was dumb and funny as hell this week. He really is somewhat...no, no, he's just a straight up dumbass. But his scenes with Sookie were great. Speaking of 'were", after everything Sookie and Debbie have been through, I wouldn't mind seeing them...friends. Don't slit my throat, it's just a strange thought. Like, she could replace Pam in the books (not that I read them, thank wiki). They could just be this tag team duo or something. We know, if need be, they can seriously kick some ass. But I digress. they really need to speed along the triangle already. Jason is Hoyt's best friend. And Jessica really loves Hoyt, that's not even a question. But there's a spark between Jason and Jessica, especially with her blood in him. so which on is it gonna be?
"Wicca = gateway drug to cutting" < Another quote. The review pretty much summed up what Marnie is: a lovable doofus. But I think I might start to get into her now that she's sort of full on possessed, if that made sense. The whole flashback scene with Antonia was my highlight of the episode. The whole cell scene was a bit disturbing, but the whole casting of the spell and the burning of Antonia and the vamps was just awesome to me. The witches in the cells along with Antonia herself? Nice.
Lafayette being possessed, fuck no! I liked the idea of him tapping into his power on his own. Not with the aid of some Tio Luca. Who is he anyways? Somehow connected to Antonia perhaps? But the entire scene when they were outside was another highlight for me. "Don't walk away, I'm sorry." "Shut up." "Shut up? Fuck you." Lmao!
Unless I'm forgetting anything, pretty good episode. Me gusta.
