okay, i see that this isn't here, and this book series is AMAZING! it reminds me of charmed, supernatural, all rolled into one!
the premise for the story is that a girl in new york meets a group of people whom no one else can see but her. she learns that she can see shadowhunters, a group of people who are of angel descent who protect the mundanes (mortals) from demons and keep the vampires, fairies, and werewolves in line.
there is a hell of a lot more than that, but those who have read the first trilogy know how good it is. the author, cassandra clare, is writing the next trilogy of the series (the next book comes out this tuesday) and she also is writing a prologue trilogy in which the first book has already been released.
so who has read this series? please let me know someone has.
