The title, cover art and release date of the Inheritance Cycle's final tome has arrived. You can read the press release here for full detail; for the lazy ones, here goes:
Paolini's fourth and final (? -- he said himself he had enough material to write more... --) tome in his best-selling Dragon-Rider adventure is titled INHERITANCE. It will be released on November 8, 2011 and, as suspected by many, the cover will represent a green dragon:
As expected also, the synopsis on the publisher's official site gives us absolutely no clue whatsoever about the plot, recounting only what we all know:
So, what do you say? I think the title is fitting, if somewhat non-refreshing. Certainly not as epic as "Brinsingr" but still.

As expected also, the synopsis on the publisher's official site gives us absolutely no clue whatsoever about the plot, recounting only what we all know:
Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?
This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.
