Title needs a change.
Okay, I honestly didn't like this episode on my first watch, spare the Bill scenes. Must have been my mood. So I rewatched it tonight and here are my thoughts:
The beginning of the episode was good. I kinda knew Eric would get shot as it was shown in one of those "Waiting Sucks" promos, but I loved it anyway. Weres are so freaking greedy for V, perhaps Lafayette should be selling off his stock to them. Then again, they aren't all that rich to pay for it, aren't they.
I liked the burial scene, and the conversation that followed, as well as the tie in it had to Eggs' funeral. Sookie and Tara are finally good again, woo (-.-). But yeah, that scene was kinda touching.
Speaking of touching, and Tara: the sex scenes between her and Franklin. Seriously, Rutina Wesley needs to learn how to fake an orgasm right. Her eyes blink too much. But I'm loving their relationship. Oh, and while we're on the topic, I haven't had the time to rewind to the earlier seasons and check, but have we ever seen Tara's boobs upfront and personal before like we have Sookie's? I don't really remember... I guess the actress probably didn't allow them to do so.
The King. He's definitely growing on me. That line about it being "Armageddon everytime someone chips a dessert plate" was epic, ha! Still hate Talbot. I enjoy the interactions and that little chat he had with Bill in the beginning though. When Bill says he "can't" turn Sookie, does he mean her ability/supe-status doesn't allow it, or that he can't get himself to do it? I reckon it could be the latter or both. Hmm.
And about Sookie and supes: immunity from powers. How far does that really extend? Is it something that's only mental? That is, like with powers like telepathy or glamoring, or even Maryann's thrall. Because her mind-reading works on Sam and the weres, but not on vamps and I can't remember if she tried reading Maryann.
Anyway, weres. The bar was cool, as was Alcide. I like his character, and I'm not sure if they'll go for a Sookie/Alcide thing because Sookie's so Bill crazy. Bill. As mentioned, loved those flashback scenes of his, his struggles, his final decision. And that final scene was horrible, even for me. What the fuck? I mean literally. "I'm not going to make love to you!" Enter, rapid thrusts, twist head, Lorena laughs, Bill screams in frustration. Okay I liked that scream at the end 'cause it mirrored mine at the very horror of the abomination. Yeah, okay, I'm exaggerating. But I hate Lorena. She should burn, again.
Sam. I enjoyed his story this week for once. I want to see him take care of Jessica, as well as what troubles his family brings in. I have a feeling Melinda Mickens is more than what meets the eye, and is orchestrating Tommy to get hold of Sam's wealth. And oh, I didn't know 21 was the legal age to drink in the States. Always thought it was 18 there.
While we're at Merlotte's, Arlene. Can we burn her too please? I hate that white trash whore, she doesn't even provide comic relied anymore. I hope Jessica gets a job there though, haha. That would be fun to watch. And Rene's baby... hmm. I don't know why, but I smell a miscarriage.
Hmm, have I forgotten anyone? Jason and Lafayette. Jason had his weekly funnies in there, and the Lafayette-Eric scene was hilarious. Oh, and way to eat 'er Pam! Haha, I really love her. The way she spoke to Jessica.
Poor Jessica, having to face Franklin and the head. She didn't seem too sexy in this episode though, here's hoping for the next.

Yeah, I know I'm not really up to date with the show, but I was flipping through the channels and happened to stumble upon the episode and flipped back and forth between it. As for the last scene, I just cringed out of gruesomeness. It just literally freaked me out. But thinking about it now, it's just so hilarious. How he twisted her head around, I didn't really get why he did that. I thought so he could imagine he was with Sookie. The scream at the end just got to me. Chances are, I'm going to grow a pair and see the full episode tonight, just for that scene.
Lafayette. Anytime I see him in a scene, either he's such a good comedy relief for me, or he just has a "tell it like it is" manner towards people (I just remember him with Tara's mother in the S3 premiere). I did like the scene where him and Tara go and visit his mother. Especially the end of it with him and Tara with the "ya feel me" moment.
I did like Sam's story of him meeting his parents. If I'm not mistaken, it was this episode, right? Anyways, I like how they introduced his full brother? as a were as well. Though there's the typical " I was here first" feel and the sort of jealousy when his dad talks to Sam as if he's the favorite at Merlotte's, I got the feel that the two was bonding at night when they both morphed into dogs.
That's all I really remember from the episode. I might add a few more stuff once I've seen the full episode.

I don't think he meant it to be Sookie, because it was clearly a hate-fuck. He did it because he was repulsed by her and didn't want to look at her face. Most of that's Episode Two.
