Alright, this was an episode I really loved. Well, enjoyed. The whole telepathic prison was an interesting concept, and whenever scenes were shown, I had that whole S1 vibe which I really loved about the show. I liked how mere minutes translated to days in his head, and how Peter and Sylar grew to know each other, especially the scenes where they bring each other books/comics. I still believe that Sylar should have been a Petrelli brother or half-brother (even if it had been from Angela's half), reason being the interaction between these two and in prior episodes like Volume Three's "Dying Of The Light" and "I Am Become Death". These characters felt human again; I haven't felt as strong a "human" vibe from them as I did back in Season One, and perhaps some episodes of Season Three. I loved how the Wall was actually put up there by Peter's unwillingness to forgive Sylar, and how, in the end, he broke it down by putting that aside, for good. Their character development in this episode was a great example of what Heroes has been lacking these past three seasons, and I only wish it would have been consistent. Now, coming to the Claire/HRG story. Seriously, Kring raped the essence of whom Noah was this season. This entire season. I remember sensing potential for a slight romance between him and Tracy in the very first episode of the season, and I wouldn't have minded that, but then Kring unnecessarily brings in characters like Lauren, and then this chick (Kate, was it?) who he was involved with while and before he was with Sandra respectively. And also the idea of his whole marriage being a sham/set-up. I really didn't like that. He's a family man, and a company man. And although he couldn't stabilise his marriage, he still had managed to keep Claire close earlier on in the season, so he kinda balanced them both... somehow, someway. A good example of that would have to be when he sacrifices his freedom for their safety towards the end of S2. And Kring gladly pissed on all of that. The one good thing that came out of this? Claire finally chose him, and accepted him. But wait, doesn't she do that at the end of every season? If we are/were to have a Season 5, guess who's going back to mistrusting Daddy? But yeah, I really liked the whole Sylar/Peter thing. I think that had it not been for the big reveal in the finale, they could have had a spin-off based on these two. I'd gladly watch it (or maybe even write it).
